I tend to be a scheduled person. I like to know when the laundry is getting done, and what is for dinner. I like to plan in meetings and appointments, so that I don’t have to spend my time rescheduling anything. I have even been known to write “eat lunch” on my calendar, as though I would forget. Having a schedule allows for more free time, and less emergencies. If you know that laundry day is Thursday, you won’t run out of undies. If you know that you have a doctor’s appointment on Tuesday, then you will be there on time, and not be charged again for missing it.
I spend a little time on Saturday or Sunday every week, and look at the week ahead. I get out my phone, my planner, any notes from school, or invitations, or extras I might need.
I created my own planner this year because most of the planners out there were missing some detail that I wanted. Each day has a timeline, a section for my fitness plan for the day, a section for my hubby’s work schedule, and my home chores. There is also space on each week for a to-do list, a notes section, my goals for the week, and a spot to put the verse I am trying to memorize that week.
After I have everything spread out, then I start writing my plans.

At this point, I make sure that everything is inputted into my Google calendar, so that my hubby can see the schedule for the week as well.
Whether you use a paper planner or a smart phone calendar (or both like me), knowing your schedule in advance will help you save time in the long run, and decrease your stress level. Have a very fun and scheduled week!
