It’s almost spring! Well, it should be at least. It’s hard to say that when even I can see snow in the mountains still sitting in my house in Las Vegas. But it will be here soon enough, and that means it’s time to start a Spring Closet Refresh.
Take a look at your closet. Check out your winter clothes, your summer clothes. Let’s go through them together.
Start with your tops. Take them out one by one. Try them on. Look at them closely. Does it fit? Is it cute? Is it free of holes and stains? Do you wear it? Have you worn it this winter? Will you wear it this spring? If you answered yes to all of these questions, then by all means, hang it back up in your closet. If you answered no, take a closer look at it. Should you donate it?
Now start with your bottoms. Use the same strategy, ask yourself the same questions. Follow the same advice.
If this seems overwhelming to you. Ask an honest friend to come over and try clothes on with you.
Sometimes it helps to take a quick photo of yourself in an outfit to look at instead of looking in the mirror. It helps to make a more objective opinion.
Have a goal to donate one bag of clothes at the end of the day!
