The weather is becoming perfect. In Vegas, you just can’t get much better than April and October. You can sit outside all day, and you might need to throw on a sweater at night, but you can also sit in the hot tub with a glass of wine. So, as we head into Spring, it is time to get the backyard ready for lounging and barbecuing. I’m looking forward to the long daylight hours, corn on the cob, and watching the girlies play in the pool. But before I can soak up all that glorious sun, I need to fix this!
Drag all of your outdoor furniture into the grass for a good spraying. Let it all dry out for a few hours in the sunshine, and then wipe everything down with a rag.
Power wash and scrub the patio. Dirt and leaves and cobwebs gather in all areas of our back patio, and I really ignore it all winter long, but this is my time to give it a really good cleaning.
Clean the grill. I wipe everything down with a degreaser first, then go back with stainless steel cleaner to get the streaks out. Check your propane tank while you are at it, if you have one. It is never fun to run out in the middle of a party. Man, this grill is gross. Can't wait for it to be nice and shiny again!
Stay tuned next week for how to put it all back together and spruce it up a little.
